vu+ultimo fan noise

hello to all,i ha vu+ultimo since april.i dont remember..but in the first period the fan was quietet,but i noticed the last week when is booting makes noise,after booting become quietet again.this is normal???i sent it back to reseller and said tom me is normal.Is normal????the same happen to you??? is in the market another fan except nidec,because is difficult to find???

yes it is normal only at the boot for 10 seconds and it become normal

Something is definitely wrong with your VU+ Ultimo.

Both Uno & Ultimo model fans work this way. I really had the same issues on my VU+ Ultimo back in March. Being able to hear the fan on top-speed (for several seconds during the boot process) is also dependent on the location of the box, loud noise and how who hear it. I suggest you to clean the interior of your receiver, remove dust and replace it. The VU+ Ultimo is a Linux-powered satellite receiver so it can work like a computer.
