VTI Image very slow and hangs

I have VTI 3.1 on flash but it takes ages to load when booting hangs on 'loading defaults' for a long time before fully loading. And it hangs most of the time when I am choosing values on menu, panel or plugins with the VTI turning around for minutes. Is there fix to this?

Try removing any usb media and try then is it quicker ?

Its possible you have maxed out the memory with plugins etc, see if there are any you can remove.

If that does not work reflash.

Thanks Ferret I will try that and also deleting some satellites and channels I don't need from settings file.

I have deleted channels, satellites, bouquets but it didn't make any difference. I tried a new smaller settings file still the same. I guess I may have to just leave VTI for now. Thanks for all your help.

The latest VTI version that i have on my VUplus Ultimo takes 6 minutes(!) to restart. Yes VTI is really slow, no doubt about it! Go for Blackhole or Pli these work much quicker.

I have VTI 4.2.1 and it takes 50 sec.

Is the fastest Image I have and the best of all ( even DM boxes )

If you flash this image, you must go to the VTI panel and see it.

As the memory for the VU+DUO is lower thean VU+UNO, you must

get a usb pen stick, moun it and make a SWAP of + - 256MB

for MEDIA/USB. Read instructions in VTI Panel.

You have everything with this image but you must take some

experience with it.
