Viark sat 4k motorised channel list ?

Hi all.I am expecting delivery next week of a viark sat 4k receiver.Does anyone have a motorised channel list for this box or is there any way to convert an e2 .xml list to .sdx.Thanks in advance.

Why not just blind scan every satellite that you can receive?
That's what I do. I use my VU Ultimo to do the dish movement.

i just taught there might be a channel list for the viark sat 4k box,as there is channel lists for other boxs.

a blindscan might have the channels all over the place,where as a channel list would have them all in there own categorys like movies news sport etc.

Yep,thats what I did.Set up usals and did a blind scan on about 16 sats,without radio channels on all but 28.2 with my trusty old (20+ years old) stab rotor and 1m dish.I was a bit concerned about this box having a limit of 6000 channels as it appears to have in online specs,and crashing if it went over that limit.The actual limit appears to be 20000 channels,so happy days.Think I have around 8.5k channels so far on this receiver and it does what its meant to do,dont like the clicky remote though which is the same one that comes with a 30 quid ibravebox on ali.

but doesnt works seems that the sats are stored on positions that doesnt match with my motor no signal in any sat

Always when using other setting upload them with your sat cable removed then upload the settings. After they have loaded set up your motor config save power down and put your lnb cable back in and start.

Its a nightmare I can’t get signal. Maybe deleting channel set up like one dish although connected to the motor I could do a search.

Now channel list is changing from with to green what means channels names change ?

you are getting no signal because you are using my location from my channel list you need to clear my location m8 you need to enter latitude and longitude for your location m8

I have it connected to a Technomate motor https://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk/satellite-and-terrestrial/DiSEqC-motors

also using Single UNIVERSAL LNB 0.2dB

for some reason when I used Technomate LNB 0.1db detect my motor not always respond I don't know why because other boxes works fine

I can confirm very sensitive receivers Viark Droi 4K + viark drs2 4k both of them went come to motorised and this something to do with the LNB voltage to the receiver

Yes I’m thinking is lnb golden media dual I have here other single lnb best Germany to test.

Conected directly to the lnb without motor its the same. Then should be the lnb

What amperage does the DRS output ?

Is the combined amperage of your LNB and motor exceeds what the DRS puts out youll get problems.

The above was always an issue on the early e1 boxes Dm500 etc.

for example if I connect my DRS2 to the motor and I use TM 0.1db sometimes the motor response and sometimes not and I notice does it more on horizontal transponders doesn't move and vertical transponders there is no problem m8


but if I change my LNB 0.2db or LNB 0.3db the motor works with no problems at all, I even tried LNB 0.1db from different manufacturer and still having problems to move the motorised sometimes move sometimes not m8

The dtt tuners works perfectly then if is a twin tuner should be ok the sat.

Could I test old firm version or the original firm ?

If you look at the Spec of the DRS your motor and LNB it should give you the amperage output/usage in the case of the DRS, that figure may also be wrote on the LNB input of the DRS. Then the motor and lnb specs will tell you the consumption they use.

You can work out the rest from those figures.

I think the way you're saying there is more tuner problem I cannot understand why you're getting no signal at all direct from the LNB to the receiver

doesn't matter if you change firmware for a satellite signal m8 I suggest you to do a factory reset and then load the channel list
