I think that the problem is not in the location but in the firmware
My box also is used in Europe and supports VIP Package

Yes, you're in Europe but your box is not identified as to be in Europe
The writing the "The device is in Europe" is missing and system didn't dive any info about SP1,SP2.
I suppose this is related to the kind of internet connenction you have.
Maybe not all connections can be correctly identified as "European" by forever system

If your device share name include .IM now you will have Sky DE and Sky UK

No. Unfortunately my device stucks only to Forever 139. Not 140 and not .IM at the moment for this device. Maybe in future or maybe never.
For now , it is a waste of €28 ? Isn't it?
The only newest channels from now, as I can see is return of beIN SPORTS 123 @19.2E
Didn't check if were opened with only Forever before purchased SP1 earlier.
Did somebody know if beIN are opened with only Forever server ?

I don't think your device will have this support

On all the devices I have there is the writing "the device is in Europe" and the info about SP1 and SP2 kind of recharge.
Your is different. Your device info appear more similar to the one with random numbers I posted before, surely locared in North Africa.
Maybe others too can say more (barney115,dog-man...), but I guess in all their devices info the reference to Europe should compare.

i did purchase the VIP but was refunded and told device not supported for VIP
only SP1 OR SP2 Code will work no issue with DE OR the Limited UK HD channels working .
My GT Media V8X does not Support SP1/SP2 or VIP codes
I Think also the Same Scenario with my old Starsat 2000 HD Hyper [ Gshare ]

Probably you right. Now , when I check in server settings, I have in my subscribe validity a year in plus of Forever date expiration.
Before purchasing my expiration date was
23/09/2023
After purchasing my expiration date is 23/09/2024
Sooooo;
Today is 21/12/2022
That means that I OVERPAYED an year subscribe for SP1 to watch NOTHING which is now added to my actual expiration date
Finally, that means , my one year subscribe for SP1 is in fact an 9 months subscribe...

looks like i could update to vip on funcam but i need satellite signal lol
IKS time is 2021-02-21 -- 2022-02-21
and you can use (S,M12,A) Card_NO
IPTV time is 2021-02-21 -- 2021-05-21
and you can use (R12,M12,K12) Card_NO
and (A,K12) can get more IKS channels
Package1 time is 0000-00-00 -- 0000-00-00
and you can use (I) Card_NO

Yes all my boxes, the ones too were forever has recently expired, appeared with "the device is in europe" info.
But as further confirmation I took out from its box my old viark combo and checked it (it stopped to be used in 2020, after several recharge, though last forever was active untill June 2021)
Here as the charging system info appeared:
As you can see, the last connection was very old: it was before new charging system was set and box is not identified as to be in Europe and technically fit after the recharge to be updated with vip package
Tani1 situation is very interesting indeed, it would be amazing to know why reference to Europe is missing.
