can get most of the fta stuff on 26.e but zero signal on bein

There are bein frequencies on 25.5E (Es'hail-1), 25.8E (Es'hail-2) and Badr (26.0E), all different satellites but close together.
The bein frequencies on 25.8E and 26.0E are receivable in the UK with a decent size dish, the bein frequencies on 25.5E (Es'hail-1) are not so easily receivable in the UK but it can be done.

25.5E (Es'hail-1) bein frequencies locked with Dr HD F15 receiver, UK location.

hi m8 cheers for the info but no use locking them on the dr hd f15 when that box is not capable of opening the channels.

Has anyone managed to get a VPN running on a Viark?

I know a man that did.

You need to use a VPN that offers connections through TCP Port 80 but it's bit hit and miss.

I managed to do it with VPNBook's free service. I can't remember if anything cleared with that, I don't think it did, but it did connect to the VPN.

Nord doesn't offer TCP Port 80 so that's a no go.

I also tried it with Windscribe that does offer TCP Port 80 connections. But for some reason, it did not manage to connect.

You need VIP Package to clear bein channels on 7w, it doesnt work with SP code.

It works fine for me with VIP Package

All bein channels on 7w work
Except the MAX channels on 12265h27500 just stopped today (they still work on other freqs though)

And for my british fellas bein channels are very useful, all channels have a second audio with English commentary for pretty much every match, including Premier League & Championship

Would be worth it if you guys in UK can lock it, for sure.

Nope

VIP is different from SP1/SP2.

SP= normal Forever packages + Sky UK/Sky DE (for Europe)
VIP= only has beIN 7w/26e + DSTV 36e (for MENA & Africa)

Different packages.

If you want what SP1/2 provides then you need to buy that package.

If you want what the VIP package provides, then you have to buy that ontop.

You don’t need to buy both SP1 and SP2.

Using an ISP supplied router so unfortunately not.

If you add any router after the ISP supplied router (as long as it can be configured with VPN of your choice) you could put the Viark behind that router and you have VPN. In my case I had a few old routers collecting dust.

I'm not sure to be honest

But it's worth noting that SP codes are for Europe users but they work for us in MENA without no problems at all

It may be worth trying but I can't guarantee you anything to be honest

I think they are trying to split the server into 2.

1 for European users, and 1 for MENA users, so no matter where in the world you are, you have access to the channels that are most likely to interest you.

I suspect alot of the wording used, is down to bad translations, at the end of the day it makes no sense for them to block anyone from buying / using both packages, the more packages they sell (be it SP1, SP2 or VIP) the more money they make and that is what they are doing this for, to make money.

and that i do not as i only have a router that came with eir my broadband company here,so do not think it supports vpn.
