Yea its all very strange, when i got the box it was all new to me but clearly something is not quite right, but ill take it ok :)

I guess time will tell although i do t imagine the current version of forever server to be around by 2027, im sure there will be something new by then.

FYI i got from Satking (germany) on ebay shipped to UK, i installed PT and tried to activate and got the message along the lines of “box not support activation”, i would need to look back on this thread for the actual message, has been pretty flawless though since, i have not managed to get my motor working yet but am getting 16.5e and 28.2e fine.

Carried out further testing on biss auto function today on a few transponders on 7e after doing a factory reset and re flashing the latest firmware then another factory reset for good luck and can confirm the biss auto function is now working correctly on my STB

That error message only shows if you try and activate it twice by mistake, yours was activated by you and then you hit send again quicky and that message will appear

Im pretty sure it didn’t, maybe seller activated, even then that still doesn’t explain the 2027 expiry

Is 1.17 available on file? I do not like online update, too risky.
If autobiss really works well it's time to update, isn't it?

version 1.17 has problems, I inserted the previous version 1.16. or do I have to update it to 1.17? thanks

No i dont recommend online flashing follow the link smithysmudger provided above

Anyone in the UK thinking about the purchase of a Viark LiL 2

Word of caution for potential UK use.

This box is amied at the Spanish market and opens mainly Spanish channels.

It can not be updated to a SP service until the 2 year sub it comes with expires.

For me with version 1.17 on the G5 Flex the settings button doesn't work, which I use to search for a film in other languages, genres, years..
