There is program that allows editing the channels /favourites for the viark sat 4k but it's not great. I don't even bother creating favourites, I have a few sport channel marked as favourites and that's it. I only really using the viark for the pl .

The android type receivers use the db format, all the rest use sdx.

Totally newbie question here, if i buy a Viark Sat 4k, let's say on amzn..does it comes with subscription? The plan i'm intersted in is Sp1...and last question, am i allowed to run it under vpn? Thanks!

It comes with a 3 year lets call it a basic subscription but if you choose to upgrade to sp1 it takes a year of the that sub and upgrades you to sp1 for 2 years.

why can't i search for channels from 5w? there is no added this satellite when setting satellites and searching for channels. How can I add a 5w stelite?

can anyone tell me what can i do so that the recorded .ts files above 4gb are not divided into several parts only in one as it is in linux? i tried ntfs and fat32 nothing helped.... maybe update soft?

Nothing you can do, it is how the firmware deals with it. No settings can change that.

Menu - Installation - Antenna Configuration - OK - Right arrow button once - OK then add your satellite details then select your added satellite from the menu and go down to transponder and add a valid transponder you can receive from the satellite select USALS to send dish to satellite and do a blind scan that’s assuming you have a sat 4K but the principle will be the same for most receivers.

no matter where you buy ,the Qviart receiver has factory firmware installed
you have to install the latest software
In a USB formatted in FAT32, put the firm corresponding to the decoder, in .bin
Insert the USB in the front or back of the Sat 4K.
With the remote, press the "USB" button.
Select the firm you want to install, press the "OK" button, and put "YES"

What receiver/box are you using to try and see satellite 5W?

Please remember that 5W carries many multistream transponders.
So you must key-in right PLS in tuning screen. If not, the box finds no channels.

@ archiesat. I have a Starsat T14 and can confirm it is forever 139. I upgraded to the latest firmware release V198 but it does not appear to have forever140 included.
