hi have u check the wiring. i have the same thing. its the vbox is fault i thing. i tested my reed switch that's ok . change the wires.still the same .i got the dish to move little bit a time now.im in the same boat us you
hi again if you got a multimeter put the on 20 ohm setting. put the pointer in the sensors on the back of the vbox. try move the dish if the digits move its ok. as i work it out. the reed switch work of a magnate .the magnate spin the open and close the reed switch in the actuators this how my one work i think .i have a h to h 1224 motor
Try short cable from positioner to actuator not attached to dish . If actuator moves freely at least you know positioner is working . If so check cable run and free movement of dish mount . Hope this helps
Just another thought . If original actuator is quite old , it may be a resistive type feedback vs. pulse (reed switch type) . I'm not familiar with V Box . Your positioner may be resistive feedback only . Years back when I upgraded positioner , I had to retrofit actuator with reed and remove old pot . If you're unsure , you could always dismantle old actuator and see .
