I have a prolifik usb to seial adaptor tried to update keybin in humax but gives me com port open error iam using windows vista does this mean it does work with humax?

controll your settings in PC, what is com-port from your adapter?
or it`s driver-problem in PC?
look in:
Device manager
it is not problem from humax!

got a usb to seial adaptor 1.1 rs 232 cable and vista work perfect if give a error just change port M8 my is port 4

but you can change to any port till you found the correct port!!and work for you..don't remember now when i got my cable if i did install the driver..have you got a diskette with your cable??? if you have install the driver as milandro say on above post..then your laptop should recognise the cable and port..
