think i found your problem ;try this
copy back newcs to /var/cardserver/
+delete script /var/bin/sci-ng.sh
to prevent plugin cardpanel to kill newcs .

Once again thank you for your help, but its the same story, no luck
I dont understand why when it works for other people.
I have no emus running only newcs..........
