good morning pals
I've some questions regarding to clone dm800
1.what is the difference between SSL72 and SSL75?
2.Is there a way to let the image run the drivers and kernel from external flash then no need to return to internal flash?
3.Is there a difference betwwen 72 and 75 in channels quality and video?
4.Is it worth to upgrade fom 72 to 75 ?

With a sim2 clone running BL75 you can load the official drivers not patched ones. You may get some benefits on the tuner side.

Is it worth the upgrade well it allows you run the latest drivers so id say yes.

Sim2.01 is not compatible with all the bl72 clones though and flashing a 75 image may cause it to freeze on Dream Multimedia, that can be worked around by sending in the BL70.

If you upgrading the sim the Ferrari sim is said to be compatible with all clone versions.

Any multiboot image not matter what sim you have uses the drivers and the bootloader from the image in the flash. Not possible any other way.

how many type of sims in the market right now?

Sim 2.01 was fro later bootloaders.

Sim2.01 & Ferrari sims but you'll be hard pushed to buy a sim 2.01 so really you only have the Ferrari sim.

my box is 72 right
if i buy ferrari sim can i upgrade to 75 and later bootloaders or not?

even with a ferrari sim card you can only load patched images for that sim.

there was an upgrade out yesterday from #75 to #76 for the new sim 2.01 and the ferrari sim.

That is true but the best bit about the Ferrari cards is they are programmable in the 800 and as Brummie points out the update are available as new bootloaders are released.
