Upgrading Dish

Hi.I'm looking at upgrading my current 1m steel dish to something of a similar size for better quality reception.I would like to be able to pull in a signal for the football feeds on 24.5w and 23.5e as i currently don't pick them up.I'm located in Nottingham,uk and with my current system (dreambox 800se and inverto 0.2 black ultra lnb) the strongest signal i get from 24.5w is 40% on the NTA channel.
At the moment i've narrowed down the search to a gibertini or orbital aluminium 1m dish.Looking at the spec for these dishes the orbital appears to perform better.Eg - The orbital pulls in a signal of 40.7db at the 12.75 frequency as opposed to 40.5db for the gibertini. This would surely make the orbital a better buy as its a little cheaper or am i missing something?
Views and advice welcome.

1m is 1m be it steel or ally, small fractions of a dB aren't really going to make any difference to general viewing, maybe remove a few pixels on a weak signal. It definitely wont make a signal that is currently too weak to lock viewable. The Gibby is a good dish, I've got the 1m and 1.2m versions and they are both well constructed but if I had a 1m steel that was in good condition I'd not spend money on a 1m aluminium. I can't comment on the Orbital, not tried one and there's also the Triax 110 in the same size bracket.

If you can get away with it consider upsizing to a 1.2m, now that is a worthwhile improvement in gain/signal but they're too heavy for a diseqc motor.

hi goofy115 i converted a 1.2 glassfiber dish for a m8 2 years ago so it would take a diseqc motor instead of a jack and it is still working well with a 0.2 lnb and i.2 motor hope this is of some help.
