Hello guys,
I've got a couple of spare 43cm Minidishes, and have a possible plan of setting up 52E for my dad and uncle so that they can watch the FTA football channels on there.
They're in the North West (near to Manchester and Liverpool). Is 43cm too small to pick up that satellite? Had a look at the footprints, but not entirely sure if it's possible. In the past, I've got a decent signal from that satellite using a battered old 60cm dish from the analogue 19.2°E days. Not sure if if 43cm is pushing my luck too far though?
Had a quick mess about yesterday, but couldn't find anything by waving a dish around with one of those squeaky meters, (I couldn't be bothered dragging out a TV and reviewer!) but no joy then. Will spend more time if I know its technically possible!
