Go to Menu -> Installation -> Advanced Search

Select which satellite and frequency, scroll down to "Modulation" which probably says DVB-S (unless the frequency is known as DVB-S2. If not, change by pressing OK om your remote and select DVB-S2 8PSK (sometimes QPSK). Select "Code Rate" and the signal level and quality should jump up - if not toggle "Pilot" OFF or ON.

Hello all, among the various decoders that I also own a 5000S Clarke Tech, I wanted to ask about the meaning of the pilot field research SCAN PID within the transponder in HD.
I've noticed that on some transponder signal by setting up pilot on, you must set up other pilot off.
The meaning of this 'and I' s a bit obscure.
