Tuner Issue when loading new channel list

Hi guys my setup is as per my signature. Decided to update my channels using Dogsetting editor and the King of Sat option on it. Everything worked fine and I loaded the new channels list onto my box. Unfortunately when I went to the channels on the box it came up with a "Tuner not configured " message on all the channels. Went through the tuner config process and went back to the channel list and initially the list was highlighted as you would normally expect but when I chose a channel I got the same message again and the channel list darkened again. ie no tuner. When I restore my original settings then everything works OK again.

Have had this problem before when I tried to run different images but with the BH images is was usually OK. Pretty certain it is not a hardware(tuner) or dish installation problem as it works ok when I restore the original settings.

All ideas / suggestions welcome.

ps tried DM Edit but for some reason it would not connect to my box. Also tried Dreamset which connected OK but gave me a lamedb error.

Feel it has to be a issue with the editor mate although no idea what never used it.

Thanks for reply Ferret. Have tried other editors but no luck. Can u tell me if I can use VUCC on my dm800 clone. Was thinking because I had a Blackhole image it would maybe work.

Is it a motorised dish? I've noticed "black out" channel lists when trying to send "motorised channel lists" to a fixed dish setup.

What do you mean by "I have tried other editors but no luck" ? Dreamedit is pretty easy to use. It does have an option to use "new Enigma2 settings" which you would need to use - maybe there is an equivalent of that on "dogsetting" if for whatever reason you really want to use that program.
