transponder edit

How can i add transponders in the 800 image, were can i find the transponder edit on the 800 were you can veiw the list t and add them like on the old images they were in the setup/motor setup/ transponder edit but there not in the new images? thanks

i'm pretty sure they are in your satellites.xml file in var/tuxbox

But can you not veiw and edit them though the tv any more and edit them in the image useing r/c with out having to go thoughDDC or any other software?

i dont think so mate with E2 you can scan them manually etc!

ok brummie just sometime i used to add a new transponder will try the way you are saying going to have a play

To add a new transponder simple use manual scan.

Menu-setup-service searching-manual scan

Now select single transponder scroll down and fill in the new frequency, fec etc and start the scan.

If the frequency is good it will store the found channels and your new transponder details.
