Before you ask how to install transmision you have to know what is the trassmision.
transmission is a fast BitTorrent client.
This is a peer-to-peer file transfer protocol which uses a metainfo file (usually with the .torrent file extension) and a central tracker to distribute file data amongst a group of peers.

Thanks to the powerful rpc, transmission-remote can talk to any client . This means that a script written using transmission-remote or rpc can, without rewrite, comunicate with all the Transmission clients.

So before you use transmision you have to be sure what to do whith this.
