Welcome to the forum .
Very strange intro post .... o_O
CH5 HD Works fine 27.5°W for TM5402 M3 ensure you have correct Key inserted and selected in 8280 menu => BBC 27.5W KEY
i have sw patch version 146p [ Aug 22 2016 ] but that i think should not be an issue .

Thanks very much for your input. I folllowed your instructions, the chart of numbers comes up 16 columns wide, and lines numbered 1 to 6. I put the biss code in line 1, but I have only 16 hexidecimals to put in, but I notice that all the rest have the same numbers/letters anyway. It did not unlock the Channel. So I tried it on line 6 and nothing again. Do I need to put in the code for all 100 Lines?

Go to BBC 1
Press 8280
Enter the 16 digit numbers in line 1(Make sure you are using correct biss keys, it starts with D5) followed by 16 zero's then exit
BBC 1 should now open
Go to BBC 2
Press 8280
Select line 1 then exit
BBC 2 should now open
Do that with each channel
If not clearing still restart receiver.

Thanks again, but still no joy. The weird thing is that even after a factory reset, the box seems to have retained the Biss code info, after doing a scan, and saving, instead of BBC1 saying its scrambled, up comes the tennis! My my question now is, does a factory reset clear all the memory, or what do I have to do to start from fresh?

If BBC clears what's wrong?
What channels dont clear?
I think to be honest if I remember correct the M3 has the keys built in somewhere, maybe in the patch.

Try this... switch the TM5402 'Off' using the power switch on the rear of the receiver... then press and hold down the arrow up button on the front of the receiver as you switch the TM5402 back 'On' using the power switch on the rear of the receiver... you should then see the 'Loader Menu' on screen use the arrow down button on front of receiver to navigate the loader menu, Select the 'Factory Reset' option.

Thank you, I did that, but the same thing has happened, It says it has cleared the memory, but the patch is still there with all the old biss attempts and the channels. It looks like the box my be tired!

The Factory reset does not clear the channels or previous biss numbers. When I do a factory reset, it comes up with the language option, but as soon as I go to channels, the old chennel list comes up and the biss codes are still there, its like the information has been embedded into and cant be purged.

Thank you for all the time you are spending on this. I completed your instructions, most channels work, but number 24 Channel5 HD,number 28 BC 4HD and number 30 Cbeebies HD all remain scrambled- I tried the 8280 trick and the biss panel came up, I went to numbers 24,28,and 30 and inserted the code to no avail.

Go to channel 5hd
Press 8280
Scroll to the line you have the key in that starts D5 then exit
BBC 4 is active 7pm onwards only

Sorry, it keeps saying its scrambled, as does BBC 4 HD. BBC4 is running Cbeebies at the moment.
