I just changed my motorised dish from 90cm to 100cm. Installer realigned everything and we decided to clear out receiver with a factory reset. The receiver had previously been patched with latest file (291p).
Then we started putting each satellite back in, starting with 0.8W. When we got to 16E the scan only found 60 TV channels, and didn't find any of the DigitAlb package.
We tried a different receiver and all the 16E channels were found.I was wondering whether doing the Factory Reset had modified the transponder table back to the one installed at manufacture. Receiver still stated that firmware was 291p though. In the end I reloaded the same patch and rescanned 16E. All of the channels were found.
It would seem that a Factory Reset does set the transponder table back to original settings. Is this right? If it is, members should be aware that when they do this, they should reload the latest patch before scanning for channels. It will save you hours of puzzlement.
