humm... Maybe you was in holiday on another planet :),but this news is very well known ,and really old ; but true news.
The official merge of CANALSAT and TPS was signed in December 2005 (you can see it is not really new) ,and all TPS subscribers migrate from TPS on Hotbird to CANALSAT on Astra).
Nearly 75 % of TPS subscribers have still migrate now since 1 year ,and all must be closed around this automn.
When all TPS subscribers will migrate to CANALSAT ,a question of just few months now, TPS will definitivly stop to broadcast on Hotbird.
