SS2 question

Hi Rock.

I have bought SS2 instead Nytrobox NB 7000, but not yet plug in it in my PC.

I have some question about it.

I have motorised Sat antenna with diseq capabilities, and NB501, that works fine. But now I will have NB and SS2. I wish both to work with diseq and motor. What is the best to connect this both with my motorised antenna.
What I need to do to make both nice working with diseq.
I am not in hurry, I have first to make home network, and than to connect it on adsl router and many things to do before making SS2 full operating.

Maybe this is better to put in some other section. Sorry.

Section is appropriate but maybe it is better of in a thread of it's own. So I've moved this post in separate thread. I don't know much about ss2 so can't be of much help. But I guess you can loop trough from one device to another or split the cable two ways.

Thanks mate, I am thinking about that possibility to split sat signal but I am not sure will I can use diseq option on the box and SS2 without manual switching.

Hi Zivac I have mine looped from my dreambox and use that to move the dish, its handy for the football,watching 1 game on the dreambox and an other on the skystar at the same time on art sport last season.

I'm interesting is it possible to move dish from ss2 with remote changing channels, and in other case move the dish with my NB remote through the splitter or some else device or way.

I know that is not posible have on NB channels from HB, but on SS2 on Astra, but it would be nice to have the possibility to move dish with both devices simoultanisly.

i dont think you can split the disceq to both, but i may be wrong.
you could put a lnb with 2 feeds from it on the dish and run a feed straight to the SS2, but even with that they are going to be pointing at the same sat, but you will be able to watch different progs.

hello folks,on one of my setups i have 2 lnb`s fixed to a motorised dish,one lnb feeds my ss2,the other lnb feed goes to the motor,then a technomate box.
It seems nowerdays,if you have the sat tv bug,more than one dish is needed.
