I have the same receiver but I am having problems updating via USB..
are you able to update via USB and if so can you tell me step by step how u r able to do it??

people say that ART is off air but actually it is not, my Starsat SR X5300CU Super is still working as at now. try loading the last software dated 14-Aug-2009.

Before you start to update you must have a software that unzip zip files. try installing the Winrar software. after downloading your decoder softy or firmware you extract with the Winrar software to a new folder collect the extract bin file that refer to the Ali patch of your receiver and drag to your flash drive. insert the flash in its slot on your receiver and then you upgrade with it via USB.
