I own a DCR 5500 and was curious if anyone knew of different factory firmware that could be loaded to the board. I think the box has pretty decent hardware, but the software behind it is lacking.
Well, it's become a bit of a hobby of mine searching the internet in search of different firmware to load to this STB....no luck yet, but will post my findings here, if I have any.
