hi to all

I have a wintv HVR 4000 dvb card. I installed it without problems in win7 and everything ok.

I installed altdvb 2.2 and also it works ok.
i installed in plugins directory hadu, i adjusted and in the beginning everything was working ok (i watched encrypted channels without problem) but when i closed the program and i started again i couldnt see any encrypted channel (hadu it works because i receive packets!!!). I can watch only free channels.

I installed smartdvb (the last one) i adjusted and i installed hadu in the plugins directory. Everything was working nice but when i close the program and i started again i can watch only free channels if i try to watch any encrypted channel the program give me a warning window (it says that there is a problem with program) and close.

Is there any idea what happened.

Hello,

Give a few more details about your trouble (especially when you are using Alt-DVB):
-is Hadu connected in both cases (fist time, and after) ?
-is Hadu receiving the DVB data (i.e. PMT, ECMs, and so on)? You can look at the Monitor window to know that,
-is Hadu sending ECMs and receiving back the corresponding DCWs in both cases ? You can also look at the Monitor window and/or make a log to check it.

Your problem may have different reasons; without more indications, it's impossible to know them precisely.

Concerning SmartDVB and the crashes with Hadu, it's a problem relative to the new versions of SmartDVB. This issue is discussed into the official SmartDVB forum : look into the "Bug Reports" section of the forum, the topic being just called "Hadu Plugin".
So, re-install the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 package after the installation of SmartDVB to solve it (I precise that this issue is not coming from Hadu).

Hello. What exactly is the error message you see in SmartDVB? Is it related to loading ffdecsa.dll perhaps? I have seen this issue intermittently in the latest releases on my win7 64 bit version. I thought it was smartdvb related, but now you mention you also have an issue with altdvb can you see it it is somehow related to loading that dll in altdvb also? It's one of the reasons i've delayed the next beta, maybe i'll have to incorporate some internal ffdecsa for future versions, never had an issue with ffdecsa.dll before it has something to do with the loadlibrary api call failing for some reason...

Thanks both of you first for the interesting and second because of ideas!!!!!

Yesterday evening i desided to uninstall the official software (wintv) for my dvb card hvr 4000. This was!!!!!! Especially for smarddvb just i changed video decoders and everything goes on.. It works fine.. I know that i could stop any process from the official software (wintv) through msconfig (to start with windows) but i thought that could be better to uninstall it and so i did.

The problem now there is only with ALTdvb. I dont have any picture or sound because it used video decoders from the official software and i must install others.. I will do it and i will inform all of you for the result.

tks for attention
