Hello everyone, I have a question:
Is it possible into DM800se CLONE - Sim 2:10 to put sim card of DM800se ORIGINAL and espect from CLONE to work regularly with the original images and vice versa?

From what I've read, yes it is possible, allowing the clone to use unpatched images... But I don't have personal experience trying it...

I can't see how this would help you?
You end up with a clone with good HW and a "clone that works as genuine" with bad HW!
The security chip is glued in the sim-card holder in the genuine Dreambox.
Do not remove the glue!
It would void the warranty!

Can I also change ferrari chip with sim chip ?
I now have a ferrari clone, and have to say its the baddest clone i ever had, never any probs with sim 2.01 and only probs with ferrari, for me that was bad investment.
Keep stuck on boot 82 cant go to ssl87f brrrrr

I have both SIMs and they are working nicely.
Just stay with SSL82 images.
Personality I do not believe in changing images just because an new version is out.
The most important issue for me is that the image is doing its job of letting us use our boxes without any headaches.
Is isn't that what an image is made for?​

I have two DM800 and one SiM (receivers are powered up through UPS).
After the first DM boot up, i remove SiM and put it in the second one and then start him also. The DM run fine without a SiM. The SiM is necessary only on boot up.

Nice info i didnt no this WinR one disadvantage would be the case open all the time in order for you to swap/switch the sim cards...

If i remember correct Ferret told a while ago orginal dmm's sims are working fine in clones and vice versa..

Yes original sims work in the clones ive tried this and also tried a Ferrari sim on original 800 and it worked fine. Never tired a sim2 in original though.

TBH a original sim is hard to get hold of unless you find a faulty 800 cheap and why would anyone want to replace a original sim with a clone sim is well beyond me.

Why do you think that i swap the SiM so often an that the case is open? After DM start i put the case back and that's it. When i do not watch TV the DM is in StandBy mode (i don't shut down). The receivers are powered through UPS so even power failure do not restart them. The receivers are for watching TV and i don't need to restart them all day. If i want to test something i test it on the receiver with the SiM.

I'm in this situation because the seller send me one DM with old SiM 1.0 and i want to use the same image SiM 2.01 on both of them.

Well you cam use a sim2 sim in the sim1 box, just replace the sim and put box directly into broswer flashing mode then flash a sim2 image.

Don't you read the post? I already did that. My box is working with SiM 2.01 image.
