Hi,

I'm very new to all this but my experience is-
I flashed CLI v4 and it kept going to panic mode every time I used multimedia, Mount manager and a few other thigns but Cable tuners worked perfectly.
I changed to Cli v3 and it was better apart form the videoplayer was abdly out of sync.

Changed to Sifteam and FTA channels worked perfect but could not work out how to get the EMU running/working.
Otherwise it seemd fine to use.

The tried the latest NLB8611 and after workign out the Emu all is fine and I am sticking with it for now at least, works perfect with my tuners, the videoplayer on mine is still out of sync but only slightly, however everythign else seems to work perfect on it.

My experience is that the NLB image is the best one to use.

nlb come with the cams,sifteam you have to download them from the plugins.

Hi,

Yes, with the sifteam image when I tried to download via the box it just bought up a window saying loading, and sat there doing nothing, when trying to select 'Manual' it froze and wouldn't do anything.

Hi Bacardi,

No I didn't, very new to all this and didn't really know what I was doing with the image so tried it and moved on to NLB.
Nothing wrong with the Sifteam image it was purely my inexperience that got me stuck ;-)

Sifteam worked fine on my local cable provider. Pit the (approved) card in the CI slot and all come through but it takes a little time.

I'm using sat at same time integrating cable and sat on one interface.

(At least it was before my IPBox went dead).

Paul,

Had the same, means your IP connection wasn't set up right, usually a router identification thing. I switched my router off/on then IPBOX was on LAN. Dead easy to download plug-ins

Hi,

I have just installed the new Sifteam image
(Using NLB 8611 on flash and multibooting Sifteam latest release today as USB boot)
The Sifteam panel now connects fine and downloads the cams etc, however using MGCamd only get free channels, If I use the green button to stop the cam and then restart it, the channel I am on starts working for a few seconds and then stops again, ifI stop the cam and start it again same again, works for a few seconds only, everything works fine in NLB?
Any ideas greatly apprecited, as I have stated before in this forum, I am new to this and very much appreciate any help that is offered.

Hi,

All sorted now, I deleted all cams using the Sif panel, then redownloaded the new one, rebooted and all was fine and seems to be working okay now.
