Con il disgelo (3.27 metri di neve non sono uno scherzo), ho

aggiornato la SifTeam su base Cuberevo-r13791 ( R.I.P.).

Aggiornati:
openssl 1.0
bash 4.0
busybox 1.19.3.4

Cambiati:
E' cambiata la disposizione delle cartelle, adesso /media punta a /var/media
(se usata in flash senza disco o usb-pen non era possibile scrivere in /media )
La home adesso e' in /var per lo stesso motivo.
Udev e hotplug spostati in zona scrivibile, per poterli personalizzare.

Aggiunto:
daemon_start.sif ..per un avvio piu' veloce.

Bug Fix e velocizzato il pannello.

Questi pacchetti (come pure il pannello), se usati, vanno aggiornati (reinstallati).

my server provider got it to work as he hadnnt updated something at his end so all fine now for a while anyhow.
i read your post on your opinion of the ipbox and oscam and i found it quite interesting.
coincidentally i have been considering moving to the vu+ ultimo as it appears to be the best supported box available with reported quality of picture etc to match.

i am however reluctant to part with my mini even though it has been infuriating to work with for over 3 years now. i have never managed to get a fully functional epg or pvr with my usb hdd attached. i agree that the picture quality of the ipbox is superb and general build is also good as it has taken quite a bit of hard usage with regard to flashing wrong images and cold power-offs etc. not to mention changing tuners from cable to sat then vice-versa several times. the front display is still immaculate also.

i have limited knowledge of the linux and scripts etc and also the oscam setup but i can manage to fumble my way through image flashing and ftp etc.

i am using sifteam 13971 in flash on my box and it has been quite stable.
the only cam i could get to work with my private server is mgcamd 1.35

any advice you could give me on improving my box setup would be appreciated

DGS

does anyone of you have functional box with DGS image IN FLASH, that is up more than a month ? I am getting crazy, having almost all boxes from ipbox (91, 910, 9000) and really do like DGS, but after few days I am getting "panic" error and boxes are rebooting themselves forever. Any suggestions, like use this paticular release, or don't use flash but multiboot or run this script, disable some specific processes ... appreciate your help. thx.

installed this cant get any emu at all?
i tried a cccam one keeps saying restaring

5 hrs in and still not working right?

Some possibilities
1)Try to format your usb stick with the sifteam script.
2)Use the webinterface to upload the image.(using Chrome-browser)
3)Maybe the PcEditor can help too.
4)Another 2GB usb stick

The best way is first the original CRI image and then PGI 1.4
Hopefully this wil help.
