With all this wind we are having I would hate to have a dish above the roofline. Mine was once above the roofline and the flexing of the pole was terrible. I soon got it repositioned to lower levels.

Would say the dish wants a 3inch pole putting up or just leave it with the 2inch pole the wind blows it thow

not your 3 meter dish then Pinocchio ???

Pole is fine but why not Disecq motor ??
the actuator is obviously adding more stress and weight and keeping dish further to exposed high winds
a small dish like that will shake like it has epilepsy , the very least you can do is move it all further down the pole 15 inches
you have still plenty of room to move down dish and Arm a lot more ,
T & K Brackets is preferred option but what you already have is not an issue since its double clamped .
Adding thicker pole still not gonna change as lot IMHO
Ground mounted dishes are not troubled by any sort of wind ....and on top of that its not a mission to climb up ladders and make any adjustments when ground mounted you can have any issue fixed in a moment regardless of weather .
@kegnkiwi is 100%

I got some aerial lads to put my first dish up it was way above the roofline and i live on a hill facing south. In the first storm it flexed that much that the t & k brackets came loose. I was out on a ladder in the rain at night trying to tighten it up. I got wakey sat to change my set up to a L bracket and moved it down onto a south facing wall. The motek 2300 motor has been up i bet 14 years. Its turns out i can use ground mounts from my position and when i can be bothered i pull out the 1.3m dish and set it up usually on 7w.

the dish is gabertini and polar mount and both the same the dish is a1.1 with a 12 inch jack. So there both go together and I find the polar mounts and motor jacks handle the wind a lot better than the crap diseconomies motors that don’t last I had 3 of them

Should have used washers .
Disecq motors are fine they last 10+Years but putting dish above roof gutter is asking for problems ,
no good genuine installer would ever be that stupid to do such an amateur job like that to begin with : )
is almost as daft and retarded as someone claiming to have a 3 meter dish when they obviously do'nt :ROFLMAO:

:ROFLMAO: 😅

Trust me i already got a great laugh from your amateur setup i was expecting the 3 meter dish bit all i saw was a flimsy little dish on a botched Feed horn intended for an actual REAL Satellite dish and a little toy 12 inch Actuator arm and not even a proper polar mount ..FFsake 😅 :ROFLMAO:

Where is that 3 Meter hiding then Pinocchio ???
You BS and lie just like you type and spell ...learn to at least do one properly at least is my advise
