Satellite Reciever help needed

Hi,

My Mother lives in Southern Spain and I'm trying to get her connected to Intesat 907 for BBC, ITV etc.
I bought a GI Mini HD Reciever to do this.

How do I "programme" the box with the BISS keys and what do I use to do this?
I'm a bit confused as you may be able to tell.....

I don't know if it is possiable. But if you still can, will I suggeast you to change the receiver to one of the right Technomate. May be a TM 5402 HD.

The BISS key change every month Every time it changes does it take few hrs before some in the groups leaks the keys to the public.

I cannot change the box.
It was recommended to me from a Satellite installer.

I have read that I need to install a "softcam" onto the box which I can then use to update the BISS Keys.
Ho w do I do this?

Hi.

It was a bad advice from the installer. Yes for 27.5w you have to enter the BISS if you can find it. But you also have to enter vpid etc. manually. It is easy on some of the Technomate's. I don't think it it possiable on your receiver or it will be very difficult.

But may be you can ask the installer to show you how?

try reading in here to see if you can find the info but the installer should have suggested a DR-HD D15/TM F3/5, TM5402HD

and most local sat tv installers do not know anything about 27W. Best way is ask google or in forums.

I don't know how it was changed.
I don't think there is any spellcheck?

Biss key for 27.5 west has changed several times aleady this year maybbe 5 times at the very least probably more
so anyone that saying diffrent really has no idea what they are talking about whatsoever .

i can recall a few years ago before 27.5w was crack'd it was encrypt all in PowerVU for years and CH 5 UK was There aswell in PowerVU .

Same story with ESPN 15 West again for years was all Encrypt in PowerVU too .

These so called "installers" really have no idea about this package whatsoever , its encryption or even what Satellite box to recommend either ..they are simply out to fill thier pockets with innocent victims and when it again goes PowerVU they will dissapear and vanish into thin air and wont be answering thier phones neither !!
they are as bad every bit as those cheating Scum Payservers that will soon disspear aswell ..the sooner the better in my view !

I hope they dont start change keys so often how keys change on IMG A (10E) or coding system to PowerVU.

Interesting for what reason this package exist on 27W?
