Replacement display

Hi there,

I have an original DM8000 with a faulty display - vertical line permanently displayed. Can I replace with one of the new OLED displays from a clone ?

@sossybaby, thanks m8. Is there any butchery involved in the installation or is it plug and play ? ie. are all the plugs, sockets and wiring compatible ?

Order a display kit - then you can replace your old diplay with a new one by using only a screw driver.

Display kit available in original yellow (cheaper)

or in white. That one is more expensive, but reacts better to remote control (improved infrared receiver is placed on that PCB (printed circuit board)).

Remark: I´m not advertising and up to now never have bought anything from the above mentioned website. There may be other distributors who sell these displays. I googled and only chose this dealer, because his website says that both displays are in stock and delivery would be possible within europe. Just for the case, you don´t find one in GB.
