recording not working

Can anyone please help i have a technomate 600 with nabilosat Darkstar2 software installed i have installed a new 320 GB hard drive but i am unable to get the system to see the hard drive every time i select the record button it comes up with hard drive not accessible i am unable to find any where in the menue where i can activate the USB port to see the hard drive(the hard drive is called WD element)

please check if the harddisk has a folder named "movie" !

when i had the external driver plugged in there was no folder named movies

Hi Mate

The Darkstar image is a ported Dreambox image. The image it was ported from has no USB facility's. To my knowledge none of the ported images can use a USB hard drive.

You need to use the UR or DS team images to be able to do so. I did here a ported image had been adapted for USB use but im not sure which one.
