Recorded movies from one E2 image to another!!

When i upgrade my older E2 image, to a newer one.... is it possible to still have my recorded movies on my hdd and watch it again from my newer image??

I have tried, a new image, but it want to format my hdd before it will use it, and then my movies is gone.

I can se in the movie folder on my hdd... that there is 5 files for every recording .eit .ts .ts.ap .ts.cuts ts.****
can i make a copy of those files and move them to the hdd again after the new image have formated the hdd??? is it the way to do it???

you can use ftp prog. to transfer them to pc ore like me i use dcc_E2_1.20 as ftp.
you don´t have to format the hdd when you change enigma image, you can use the same recording as befoure.
you have to make hdd reedy not format, i don´t remember what it´s name is... you find it in the green ore red button if i don´t remember wrong.

Ok ill tale a look on it :) i have the options to either format or initialise the hdd ??? Is that what you had in mind with the bottums :)???

ok, i use latest PKT flash and i only mounted my hdd to get acces.
default is un mounted, blue buttom and later green buttom, now u can mount the device u have, hdd as sd1, sd2 and so on.
ore you must find youres mount manager to do this.
