Reception of circular channels on Eutelsat 36 with a PFA dish - how to?

Hi!

I own an old Wisi PFA (120cm) that I would like to use for receiving the circular channels on Eutelsat 36 in Germany. The feedhorn is a standard linear type attached to a flange LNB.

Is it possible to modify the original feedhorn using a teflon plate? If yes, where to get such a plate? Alternatively some converter from circular to linear would do the job, too, as in a small wave guide to be put between the feedhorn and the LNB.

There is the polarizer by AV-Comm...
Oh, wait, you are not talking C-band.

For a plate: Get transparent polystyrol about 4mm thick from the hardware store and cut it to size yourself.

Thanks for your reply. I use such an AV-COMM converter for receiving Eutelsat 5°W which works fine. :thum:

About the plate: the shape is a square so the dimensions just need to fit the inner diameter of the feedhorn?

Width should be inner diameter of the feedhorn.
Length I'm not sure, maybe 28mm.
