Sorry for my ignorance.
I was looking for enigma2 box that does server forever as well and found out that this receiver is one of them, I'm not sure if only one or viark does both too
I tried reading and looking for videos, how is forever integrated into enigma2, do they have their own image, is it thru plugin, as far as I know to watch encrypted channels you need softcam oscam.... Or forever is only added to the android boot, once you are in enigma2 image you don't have forever anymore

Yes the dual is dual boot android and enigma 2. You can have 4 x images in the E2 side and then you just boot to the android side to access the forever server.

I was thinking forever was integrated into enigma2 as well which is not the case. Bummer, there is a package that is only opened with forever, no other way to open it by oscam or whatever, unfortunately I will have to change boot each time which is not practical. Anyway thank you again

I'm interested in this box but wasn't sure if I should get it and all issues I heard about are addressed, what do you guys recommend

With enigma 2 its one of the deco in the market with android you need to know how to deal with the existing firmware until the new one 1.08 will be release we hope it will remove the remaining bugs concerning tv channels but with IPTV working good.

Which bugs do you refer to on the e2 side.

There are some bugs to Iron out on the Android side which carries the FS we are waiting on a firmware update which should address some of those bugs. I've only dipped my toe into the e2 side but from what I know it's pretty much working fine.

I very rarely turn my box on to the android side its generally on the E2 side. I change the images regularly and enjoy playing about with it. I am happy with most things with the receiver but i do not really test out the recording features.

I received Qviart dual(SW 5.0.0), it didn't come with IKS.I don't understand much of what I read on the forum,maybe you can enlighten me on how to proceed to change the current software and where to call to subscribe IKS for 1 or 2 years.Thank you.

You need to install Speacial 1.04 firmware and then 1.07 firmware then you will have 2 years IKS

Maybe someone's interested in IKS for the dual Qviart.
I have in use at another location VIARK COMBO, now with subscription until autumn.
We tested today only the satellites Eutel 16° E and Astra 19,2° E. We did not notice the difference"light"between Qviart dual and VIARK COMBO.

The viark combo does not run enigma 2 though.

Qviart dual and VIARK COMBO.

They use the same server, the dual comes with 2 year IKS this does not include SKY DE or SKY uk.

You need to add a years sub for those to be activated it then it also adds a year.
