please help with DM800 clone..

hi there ..
i have DM800 and i was trying to install image on it when suddenlly a massage " Error ,ca not found " appear .. i have tried almost every Dream up version even the patched one .. but with no luck..
it always get stuck in the massage " upload completed, waiting for aknowledge " and if i use the enforcer and load the image it get stuck and display " waiting ok from the box to load image " and nothing happens..
can someone help me please:mecry: ..

Hello mate

I have just moved this thread here from the file section, i guess this is why your question ws overlocked. Please be carefull where you post.

Can you tell us what sim type you have and what image you flashed. You have loaded the wrong bl version of image for your sim.

If you try boot the box do you get anything on the TV screen.

If you get nothing then leave the box unplugges for a hour then try to flash again with enforcer.

i tried to flash ozone image ..
i have an error massege on my box screen saying " ca not found "
i tried reflashing with the enforcer but i always get stuck ..

Ok mate

One thing to try!

Flash your 800 with a image that uses bl70, these were not built for the sim2.01 so you will have to use a sim1 image. Or use dreamup and try flash just the bl70 on its own.

Try that just something i read on another forum maybe it wont work but you have nothing to loose.

if the Ferret guide doesn't work than your simcard is bad connected, so you must force a little bit down your sim card.

Or while you push the card turn on the box and see what happened. Your box should start regulary.

I had the same problem with a DM800 clone with Ferrari Sim.

I have that message and I tried everythink but no way.

I send to the seller and it was repaired and fix. It was OK.

The seller told me he replaced somethink that was not O.K.

The box is EXTREMEBOX

In DreamUP under the extra menu the is a option to repair bas sectors?

I have make one tutorial for this problem I had a same problem but I solved , and make small tutorial how to resolve this problem ,but sorry i didn't have time to translate on my bed english heheh.

Hi Sqall82,

Attach a NullModemKabel to the dream and the computer.
Start the dreamup programm. When you start it, it will send a small file to your dream.(only takes a few seconds)
Don't use dreamUp to flash the image.
After this is finished, close dreamup programm and remove null modem cable.
Connect the dreambox to your router with a lan cable.

Unplug the dream and then put the power back on, while keeping the on/off button pressed down.
Keep it pressed untill you see an ip address in the display.
Enter the ip address in your webbrowsers addressbar.
The web flashing interface will open.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and klick on "FirmwareUpgrade"
A new window will appear. Here you can search for the new nfi-image on your computer.
Select your new image (Make shure it's an NFI file) and suitable for your clone with bootloader #75 Sim 2.01.
I use dream elite blackhole 13 ssl#75 sim 2.01.
One of the best (and user friendly) images I know.

Now press the flash button in the web flash interface.
It looks like nothing is happening but after a while the flashing is finished and you will see the text "Finished 100%".
When flashing is finished press the on/off button and your dream will start with the new image

Have i missed something here? what you describe is the normal browser flashing procedure!

What you do different is starting dreamup, but even if DreamUP sent a small file as you say, this is then canceled out by unplugging the 800 and then reapply the power. So in affect its a normal browser flash that sqall82 has tried.

Hi Ferret,

I had the same problem when I got my first clone box.
I also flashed an Image that wasn't suitable for a clone.
It also didn't show an IP Address anymore when I used the on/off button trick.
Then I used a patched dreamup with null modem cable.
That takes about an hour to finish (serial)

Later I tried to patch my own images, but that also resulted in a
"CA Erro" when I tried to flash my patched image back in the Flash. Also my IP vanished again.


But for some reason I got my IP back when I only ran the (patched) dreamup in serialmode to put in the first small file and then disconnected the dreambox.
When the IP showed up in the display I used the browser flash method to put in a patched image.

Maybe I was just lucky?

hawe yo use a "DreamUP_patched_by_forhike_and_natas.exe" with ather DREAM UP will not work and dream up also from link thath you can find in tutorial, but here is here one more time

Hi Sqall82,

Maybe your serial nullmodem cable is broken, or maybe it isn't a nullmodem cable?
Try another cable.

You could also try to disable the function "use Network" and flash the box in just serial mode (takes about one hour to flash).
