Hi Guys great site. I have a TM5400. After installing the patch I lose all signal and quality and when I installed patch from TM website I get signal and quality back. Just seems the patch is knocking it all out somehow. I am installing the right patch for my box which is the super model. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

you must also load the correct patch either the original or super patch depending on your model only the correct patch
can be used check on your box which model you have, next
is this the first patch on the receiver? and did you load it with a memory stick? if you did did you let the patch load and
wait untill the box re-booted before removing
the memory stick? did you load the patch this way
for tm 5000 series patches etc: via a memory stick first you download the correct software,patch/softcam/chn list etc:
then you open the zipped folder and take the file out
[you must make sure the file is out of the folder]
before you transfer the file to the memory stick,
for loading on the receiver.next to load the patch onto the receiver you put the receiver on a free to air chn
then put memory stick in tm5000, USB port. and turn the receiver on next you press the green button on tm 5000 remote, next it goes to data transfer> click>ok you will now see a small file panel with the patch, highlighted then you press>ok again,
and it will now download, you will see green loading bar when complete the receiver will re-boot turn off and on again, then press exit. and remove the memory stick, change channels and the channels should open.you might have to load the latest tm softcam if the chns dont open.you load the softcam in exactly the same way. a lot say the first patch or software loading
should be done with a null modem cable.this stops any glitches
when loading software via a memory stick, if you cant get the patch to load successfully you will need to factory re-set the
box and you might need to do a forced download with the null modem cable

Cheers Ben for the info. The only thing I did different was I put stick in with box off, and then powered up and it loaded with full signal and quality and with cas menu. Thanks again.
