Oscam configuration for Fransat

Hello,

I'm putting my Vu+ Solo2 back into service with the OpenPli image.
I want to switch to Fransat, my satellite dish is correctly oriented and the image is installed.
And I've ordered my Fransat card and module (but haven't received them yet).
But I think the module won't help me, is that the case? Do I have to go via Oscam?

It's been years since I've handled or installed this and I'm not young anymore.

In the plugins/softcam available from the OpenPli image, I see two oscam: 10671 and oscam.emu 10673.
I installed the first: 10671
Then in /etc/tuxbox/config/oscam I have 6 :
oscam.conf
oscam.dvbapi
oscam.provid
oscam.server
oscam.srvid
oscam.user

in /etc/init.d I have the file: softcam.oscam
in /usr/bin I have the file oscam in attribute 755

I don't have oscam.services file (and I don't know which folder to look for/put it in). Is this normal?
Could you tell me how to configure them?

I just put this command in Oscam and it worked for me
But it must be activated from Readers i Oscam

When you write "I just put this command in Oscam and ...",
in which file did you put ? I have 6 files in /etc/tuxbox/config/oscam :

oscam.conf​

oscam.dvbapi​

oscam.provid​

oscam.server​

oscam.srvid​

oscam.user​

and 2 others :
softcam.oscam in /etc/init.d
oscam in /usr/bin

You put it in oscam.server and delete the line with enable = 0.
Place the smartcard in the internal reader of the settopbox.
Reboot OSCam.

This is what I have in oscam.server, worked until they switched off my card.

So you see I have some extra lines: mod1, data50 and mod50. Try with and without them.

Furthermore I don't have:
smargopatch = 1 # I think this is only for Smargo readers, not needed when your card is in the internal reader of the settopbox.

dropbadcws = 1
disablecrccws = 1
Don't know if they are needed in with the current Fransat-cards. Try it with and without them.
