Omni Link SLx Magic Eye

Hello all, not been here for ages due to work, so sorry my first post for a long time has to be a question. :( I have searched both on here and the web, but yet to find an answer.

I bought one of these magic eyes so I can control the sat system (TM5402HD) from another TV in a different room. Got it all up and running after a bit a faffing about with an isolated wall plate, and all was good.

However, I was tending to lose signal on my main TV (Panasonic TX-L42E6B if relevant), especially HD channels, which was fine previously.

After re-doing all aerial connections, even soldering one or two, all was good again. Up until today.

What I've found, is that if I disconnect the Omnilink from the second TV, my main one works fine. As soon as I plug it back in, the picture starts breaking up and I then lose signal. Unplug again and it's fine.

It's frustrating that sometimes it's fine, other times no good at all. It doesn't seem to be weather dependant as today it's clear and dry, so just wondering if it's a dodgy Omnilink or if a known problem?

Oh, I've just bought a new Sat box (another TM but the Linux powered TM Twin OE) so for those of you in that particular section of this forum, expect to see me there. Often. I will read loads first, promise... :D
