HI All

Just got my vu Uno flashed with the latest vti image. I come from a spider box background so please bear with me.

I have since configured my tuner with the longitude & latitude settings for my motor.

Now I have downloaded ccam 2.3.0 and started it as I for now I will be using a cline.

Firstly where can I get a channel list from as currently I just installed the default services but I’m sure there not up to date as currently I have no picture just the default vu background.

Secondly how do I get the ccam.cfg file onto the box?

I have downloaded the vu control centre and I am aware that I need to install the cfg via ftp?

I’m after some basic tips of what I should be doing to get going.

you could download some settings from the forum and send them to the receiver with dreambox edit

for the CCcam.cfg edit it with notepad+ or dreambox control centre then ftp it to etc folder with any ftp prog.

i would have tried the Blackhole 1.7.2 image very user friendly and add the TSPanel,when you have got your head around this box then try other images

cool, i will try the image now. Am i right in thinking i can backup my current image to usb including all the settings and changes i have made so far?

i dont know if there is a plugin in that image to do a backup,if not you could probs download one,the blackhole image as got it already built into the image,just insert a usb stick blue button twice device manager highlite the usb stick then press red to mount change the path to media/usb and press red to save, then menu full backup takes between 5 - 7 mins

Just installed black hole and ran thru the wizard but i still cannot see any channels. Again i have activated the default service lists but cannot see anything. I could view fta with the default vu image.

How do i add tspanel?

if you have set your tuner up,yeah you should see FTA channels.download TSPanel unzip and ftp it to tmp then press green then yellow then manual install ipk :thum:

Also what will it give me?

is there any reason why my date & time is wrong? has defaulted 01.01.1970

I copied the exact longitude & latitude setting from the guy that installed my dish so in theory i should be seeing fta ?

Thanks again. I just ftp the file into tmp but when i goto manual install ipk it comes up with the message nothing to install

did you unzip it first if not delete the zipped one from tmp then re send unzipped

Tried it again and it's worked this time. I now have a ts panel to which I then went to addons - tunisasat vuplus addons - blackhole cams. I then installed ccam 2.1.4 full.

I then went to emu manager & started ccam 2.1.4

I still have the issue where I see no channels only the black hole background. Something must be wrong somewhere? If I goto sat finder then I have snr 58% on hot bird I take it the sat finder optiOn is to see what says you can pickup?

Are there any video drivers I need to install as the box is new, I always get the message no data on transponder, timeout reading pat?

As far as I know, the VU+ new boxes , need

to update the FPGA to get channels.....

With my new box I dont see any. Only after

update the FPGA...

I have since copied ftp my ccam.cfg into var - etc but i still cannot clear anything.

Is there anything i need to do to the cfg in order for it to work?

no just restart CCcam blue button select CCcam with < button next to ok then press ok

yes download from the forum edit them with dreambox edit ie delete the sats you dont want save then send across to the receiver.

settings can be found in dreambox settings section i have seen pedrags settings in the vu section aswell

download dreambox edit, in profile settings make sure you add the ip - password and click on Eningma2 Settings then save go of this first pic and you will be fine.

open the settings edit them then save, then click on the 3rd icon transfer file between pc & Dreambox,then click on send files to dreambox,second pic.

Cool. Even tho I'm using a vu is the folder location the same?

Also you mention enigma 2, what's this?
