SunrayS4 with DTMB tuner work only in Asia and Middle Est country:

For DVBT used in Europe, you need the new model of Sunray with DVBT.

The DTMB side of the tuner will not work in Europe it will only in Asia.

It looks like also dvb-t needs some "hidden" settings in satellites.xml.
the reason being that dvb-t has 2 transmission modes uhf 8mhz, and vhf 7mhz.
Usb tuners have no problems to discriminate uhf and vhf, the 3 in 1 tuner just recognizes uhf(8mhz).
Can we investigate what setting is satellites.xml must be modified to acchieve our goal.

Obviousely I'm talkig about the 3 in 1 tuner on the newer model (internal wifi)

Try changing symbol rate to 8000 and 7000.

Hello all,
I have managed to make the DVB-T VHF channels work.
Unfortunately they work only in manual scan, searching for single transponder, these are the parameters required:
Inversion ON
Symbol rate 07000
Polarization H
FEC Auto
The channels are locked correctly.
I have tried to change the satellite.xml to make it work in automatic scan.
I have made this change as example:
<transponder frequency="1177500" symbol_rate="07000000" polarization="0" fec_inner="0" inversion="1" modulation="0" system="0" pilot="0" rolloff="0" />

Polarization 1 is H
Inversion 1 is ON

In automatic scan no VHF channels are picked up.Have I made some mistake in satellite.xml?

Help me out, we have nearly found the solution.

Sooo, the real frequencies for DVB-T here are:

-762
-786

What frequency I shall input for single "transponder" search?.

Also, is the "magic" for this 3-tuner, to put those LOF L/H to "0" zero, so tuner goes to DVB-T mode?

Hello again, My bad. DVB-T works!

This frickin advanced mode is a bit confusing. I realized the main/primary key/setup is for satellite (not for LNB's), where one of the satellite is DVB-T. You can mess it pretty good putting same LNBx for several satellites.

Anyhow, sunray 3 tuner is a pretty amazing device, a bargain :thum:

Maaan, I was struggling with Sunray and DiseqC settings. It just did not work even with Simple mode (as my original/realdeal DM800). The DMxxx tuners are so sensitive, that wrongs settings cause the tuner go dead -> reboot.
I have Digiality 4-DiseqC in use (yes yes, Spaun is better).

Below is pic from my LNB/DiseqC setting.
Btw, thanks for this Italian dude about DVB-T "lnb" settings. I found out that there "1" front of the real freq of DVB-Ts. Like 1714000 is 714000Mhz.

I am thinking myself to buy one of this sunray boxes, but I dont know which one to choose, dreambox 800hd se clone or Sunray4 HD SE - Triple Tuner + Wifi (SR4).
I need to know if DVB-T tuner of sunray is mpeg4 or is analog VHF. Does Dream elite v3.0 supports the both tuners dvb-t and dvb-c.

If someone have this box please write more.

The sr4 tuner is digital mate yes, any image can support t & c with the sr4 tuner it is just a matter of setup.
