yesterday i bout dreambox800 hd clone
instal image is gemini 420 bl#72 now i want instal new patch image if i instal patch image then i have to instal drivers r simply instal patch image and box will be work ok

yes you can i have this image http://www.sat-universe.com/showpost.php?p=491900&postcount=12with #72 bootloader in my clone, then i have nabilo V12 original on a usb stick it works well.

Yes mate

Images with a 69 & 70 72 bootloader will work in yor clone without the need to be patched. In other words you can use the official release images upto a bootloader of 72 in the flash of your 800. After 72 you will need to use patched images from the thread i pointed out to you.

Best method i feel is use the latest patched OoZoon Or Nabilo with Meo Boot image in the flash. Then use either barry allen or Meo boot to multiboot images from you usb pen drive.

If you look at the change log/Readme released with the image it will normally state which bootloader the image has been built with.

Nabilo 12 is on a 75 bl so you would need to use a patched image.

i instal nabilo-dm800-pfm-14nov09-with meoboot .6-BL72-patched-by-mfara succesfuly 1gb usb also was in the box but not formitted by the meobot
option is availibal but no action how can i l formit usb in this image i want to instal others images on usb with meoboot r barry allin

Some sticks are just not recognised by the 800 mate, try another brand.

But before that you could try formatting it to fat32 on your pc then retry the meoboot format option.

One other thing when you execute Meoboot from the first time from the plugins menu! Did it ask you where to install?

i have two usb sticks both formited on pc but one by one not shown on dreambox with nabilo-dm800-pfm-14nov09-with meoboot .6-BL72-patched-by-mfara and onzone and can i instal gemini 440 orignol image on clone flash

No idea regarding the gemini image.

You can install any image to bl72.

Ok mate

Your having no luck with it, either flash one of the 2 images from above or try the latest patched OoZoon if you have not yet done so.

Another way to force format the stick would be to install Barry Allen, this would need to be version 4.9.5 as it is the only one that will install to images without usb drivers on the kernel.

New versions will not work as you images does not contain the USB drivers in the kernel.

Tell us what image you have i your 800 now and at what setupo stage your at.
