New DGS image Sifteam 0.31 r11834 with emu

Yet again can't get emu (mgcamd) to start with this DGS image.
I know it's cloak and dagger but url2 was replaced and Mgcamd1.35 downloaded. Keys put in /var/keys.
Yet again it doesn't work... can anyone give a clue as to what needs to be done..

what did you put in /var/key softcam only?????or softcam and your newcamd.list or for cccam share...?????


did you set the cam from panel????after you download

I'm only using mgcamd as a cccam client.
I put all mgcamd config files into var/keys. I know the cam works because I can start it with the line :-
mgcamd-1.35 &
in the user startup. But I can't get it running from the SIF panel plugin.

ex:red botton so on and so on


also you said sart the emu with telnet........can you give the log after starts the mgcamd..


i download the .tar manuel as i can see box type default set to {09} change to 12 and try...

Hi Markybrook, I don't know hhy this is but Mgcamd 1.35 does not work for me from the sifteam downlaod panel. I download Mgcamd 1.33 then replace the bin file with Mgcamd 1.35 bin file from the NLB image renamed to 1.33. Why it is like this don't know ?

Yeah that's what I find Carrpet.
I am actually starting the cam I downloaded with the green/red/0 buttons (mgcamd1.35) with the rc5.d user script in var/etc/rc5.d called s99user_start.sh not telnet as suggested. When I look in this script it should be starting up the default cam anyway and that just does not happen. Xxxaxxx I wonder how you manged to start the cam. Or is it that you are using mgcamd NOT as a cccam client.
Very Puzzling.
Incidentally I can get Crossepg working with this image when i couldn't with the previous Sifteam DGS without too much interference to the cam.

it' not to point regarding client cccam or gbox so on.....
point is mgcamd starts with out error,,,,,,

if you cant connect your cccam,gbox so on it's not mgcamd problem.....it's your problem...

so if you want start mgcamd from telnet and put the log here ....that will show all what's going on...

Sorry mate. i do appreciate your help...
It's just that there's no point in starting it from telnet. I can start the cam PERFECTLY as I said.
All I am saying is myself (and Carrpet) can't seem to start Mgcamd from the sif panel plugin. Hope that's clear!

anyway.....problem in script and panel plugin......

easy way to find in your case......try to start the mgcamd on sif panel and Make a serial log......so you will see what is the error ....and what will be need to replace in script ..

or wait same fix it for you....and ask in there official forum....to ngc1927

It works fine here, but you have to chmod the two Mgcamd files in
var/bin to 755.

I had chmodded the mgcamd-1.35 executable but had not chmodded the mgcamd-1.35_cam.sh to 755. All now works from Sif panel plugin on green button.

Please could somebody tell me which informations I must fill in softcam key file in order to watch scrambled channels as I already do in Azbug? I can copy some infos from multicas, some fields like Key00, 01 and maybe KeyM1.
