What about firmware 13T37?

Any experiences with it?

I use it and I am not so happy with it.

Maybe changing to 21t7?

Is the firmware equal for NB 501 and 601?

And what about the different cam patches?

I found the following note:

– CAM Black & Decker: S02, FUN, GOLD, HRT, VIA 2
– CAM James Bond: S01, FUN, GOLD, VIA 2, IRDETO
– CAM Bruce Lee: S01, FUN, GOLD, VIA 2, IRDETO, CONAX

Which is the best one for stability when not using any card?

And does anyone have experience with ICM4098 ?

The firmwares for nb501 and nb601 are not equal.

So the 21t7 is for NB 601 or NB 501?

I'd say that CAM Bruce Lee is stable enough.
21t7 is for NB 501.

Bruce Lee, 21t7 is the best combination 4 nb 501 ( in my opinion)
i use them here with no problems

Why you want to patch the cam , if you don`t use any card ????

If you don`t use a card , don`t patch the cam

Firmware for nb601 is 13t23,13t26,13t37

and yes firmware for nb501 and nb601 is different ...

- upload channel list
- upload rp_actual
- upload rk_actual

No new firmware.
Try to change IDE cable. Or experiment with another HDD.

What kind of problems?
I have also problems with recording on HDD. Sometimes when I record, I loose old recordings and get only gibberish in Recording list. Or when i pres "R" button on remote.

hello, since today i have problems using winupload .... there is the following text:
Error (4)
Problem: You are trying to download same version of software
Solution: Retransmit UART File after Erasing Software Signature wich is in EEPROM

Channels lost

NB601 has also lost all channels and satelit information since 21.04.2008. Also the reset to factory settings doesn't work.
Any ideas????

Whit NBx01 put backup list or...

5. Channel List (some checked list or make whit nbx01 your own (I recomended) and save backup list on HD

21T7 and 21T8 is for NB 501

13T23 and 13t37 for NB 601 !!!
