How to use new sim2.01 ssl 84/clone images

1-if the dreambox has old ssl 82 bootloader,flash new ssl-84 nfi first by dreamup or internet explorer method then reboot the dreambox to setup mode again to activate the new ssl
2-after flash clone patched ssl84 dm800 sim.2.01 image
3-if new ssl84 already flashed to dreambox just flash the clone patched ssl84 dm800 sim.2.01 image by usual method
4-reboot the dreambox .

You can just flash a 84 patched image directly over the 82 you have now mate.

not problem what loader you have if your sim is 201 you can flash 82 or 84

Sorry my mistake.

You have a ssl72 ? I think that is sim1 so you can not use the latest images. You need to buy a new sim.

I doubt that. I think mine was on 72 or lower and it's working fine with the latest 84.

As long as the sim is 2.01 or 2.1 I think they'll just be able to install any patched image.
