MVision ST5

It was great joy I got my ST5 but now I am not so sure. I know satellite TV is a chasing game but though it does everything nearly, it is a bit of a pain. Have I missed all the forums with advice. Trial and error seems to be the name of the game. Does anybody else have one of these sets. Even in this site there are no reports. Could be a great box @ £99 in Maplins. Faults I have found are that it locks up, poor OSD, fails to disq switch, menus upside down, ie channel up goes down. file saving limited to .ts format. only plays avi across the network

I have not the MVISION ST5

I have the MVISION S5 which almost the same

Is one of the best receivers I had.

I think you did not put the last software, which is:

MV-S5-2.88_SCAM-1.29.ZIP

This software must been put in a USB 2.0 stick with

some memory, like 2 or 3 GB.
