Hey rubensx5,

Can I ask if your handle is a nod and compliment to the Spanish Motorcycle rider Ruben Xaus?
Hi kippysat my handle is not related to the WSBK/MOTO GP rider but the sx5 bit is a nod towards the popular use of SX?? in the names of early analogue satellite boxes

hi @rubensx5

Thanks for this update...(y)

When you say "...QUEST appears to show future rounds on SAT and SUN weekends..."

Does that mean the actual weekend of the race or the following weekend?

Would be great to know where I can see the program guide so I can set up my
recordings.

In the latest deal, two races in each season will broadcast free-to-air (FTA) on Quest, including the British GP.

Quest will provide FTA coverage of all Sprint and Grand Prix races, from the 2025 season of the global motorcycle racing championship.

TNT Sports and Discovery+ will also broadcast the FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship, and the FIM MotoE world Championship electric competition.

The agreement comes ahead of the 2025 season, which commences with the ThaiGP on 28th February to 2nd March at the International Circuit in Buriram.

Next season’s MotoGP calendar will feature a record high of 22 Grand prix races across 18 countries.

Warner Bros. Discovery’s stable of UK media rights partnerships includes the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UFC, and Formula E.

“MotoGP is, without a doubt, one of the most exciting sporting properties across the globe and we are incredibly proud to continue our partnership with MotoGP,” said Trojan Paillot, SVP Sports Rights Acquisitions and Syndications at Warner Bros. Discovery Sports Europe.

“To be able to take MotoGP to our free-to-air channel Quest will complement our live coverage on TNT Sports, helping to broaden its popularity beyond its traditional motorsports fanbase.”

Alex Arroyo, Head of Media Rights at MotoGP rights holder Dorna Sportsadded, “Since TNT first became home of MotoGP, they have provided top quality coverage of the sport for audiences in a key market.

“We’re excited that the next years of our agreement will also expand into free-to-air Sprints – an incredible addition to the championship, and one we know new fans will love even more.”

After the conclusion of the 2024 MotoGP season on 17th November, the series has unveiled a new logo and visual identity ahead of the next campaign.

The championship’s revamped identity was developed by independent design studio Pentagram, and comes after MotoGP’s €4.2bn (£3.5bn) takeover by Formula 1 owner Liberty Media in April.
