Monoblock AND DiSEqC switch

I have 2 dishes, one at 28.2 and the other at hotbird , using a 4 way DiSEqC switch. I want to change the LNB on the hotbird dish to have a monoblock for 13/19 degrees. Now I assume this is also switched by DiSEqC internally. Im using a Dreambox dm800. With this work with both the switch and the mono block? If so how do I configure it

Thanks in advance

It can be done although i am not familiar with the dm800, you should find the settings for the diseqc in motorised settings and allocate each of the four ports to a seperate satellite, ie: port A 28, port b 19, and port c 13, port d empty.
Personally i would just put a h to h motor on your dish easier and more choice.

Hope this helps

It CAN be done BUT you will waste a lot of money sourcing the right combination of 0/12v switch, toneburst/DiSEqC 1.0,1.1,2.0 & 2.1 switches. Once you have found the combination of switches, you risk failing because where for instance a DiSEqC 2.0 switch is needed, your chosen switch may well be backwards compatible and switch with a DiSEqC 1.1 signal when you wanted it to ignore and just pass straight through :mecry:
By far the best (and cheapest) option is a 4 way DiSEqC switch and a short LNB arm clamped to the side of the original to get 13e & 19e. You will see loads of suitable arms attached to redundant dishes everywhere you go, simply offer to remove and take away.

A £35 motor gives so many more options and is far less hassle, I doubt you will find a switching system that will work satisfactorily

You already have the switch, just cut half the arm from an old dish with LnB and bracket it at the side of your existing one.

Configuration

Is it possible to connect 1 dual monobloc quad LNB with another 2single LNBs in DiSEqC 1.1 with 2 switches 2/1 for 1 user? Will be avaible then the 3 unoccupied outputs of the monobloc LNB for another 3 users?
