cpu is used as long as enigma2 is connected to the stream relay. try switching channels.

Looks like some other problem because even when decoding an HD stream, it should not be using 50%cpu... What do the logs show?

Testing same channels with same image but with dm800se

All AFN Channels working perfectly

dm800se has about 3x slower CPU thant VU Solo2 but works better

Same here, all channels run fine with DVBViewer on PC.
But i also get freezes on my DUO2 with OpenATV 4.2.

Tried Playing aroung with ECM fix delay but no luck so far even gets worse when i try to cahnge something...

Has anyone with ET9000 actually succeeded with audio and video on any PowerVu channel?
I tried quite a few channels but only managed to hear audio on a couple of channels, but never video.
I am running OpenPLi 4.0 from last year.

I can no longer edit my previous post so I would like to thank andres66 for his patience and his willingness to help everybody.
My problem now was that instead of trying to watch my stream list I tried to watch the actual PowerVu channels.
By the way, CPU usage is actually about 10% on ET9000.

I think it is using kernel 2.6.32.61_stm24_0216, so you can try this version.

I am not sure of the file structure for openatv, so can't give you exact instructions, but you need to backup the existing pti.ko in /lib/modules/??? and replace it with the new one. If you don't know where it is, you can try to ftp the file to the box in /tmp directory. Then telnet to the box and execute the following:

find /lib/modules/   -name pti.ko -exec mv -v {} {}.orig \; -exec cp -v /root/pti.ko {} \;

If the first part does not find and rename the file correctly, the second part will not replace it.

You must reboot the box for the new module to get loaded.

NOTE!!! This pti.ko is for FTA operation ONLY - it will not work for normal operation of oscam - it only works because of the stream relay... So, you will need to put the original back if you need oscam for anything other than powervu...
