13/02/09 Qbox HD 1.0.0.

This is an update release for the QBoxHD.
The update procedure must be done in two steps:

1. Update the Boot Flash
1.1 Download and install the latest QBOXHD Updater downloadable from http://www.qboxhd.com/QBOXHD_Updater_v1.0.2.rar
1.2 Update the receiver with the QBOXHD_UPDATE_COMPLETE_06_02_2009.QHU file

2. Update the USB-based filesystem
2.1 Download the update file qboxhq_update.tar to a USB flash pen
The pen must be VFAT formatted.
2.2 Turn-off the QBoxHD
2.3 Insert the USB flash pen
2.4 Turn-on the QBoxHD
2.5 The update procedure will start automatically.
The LCD will show the procedure status, including when it finishes.
2.6 When the update procedure finishes, turn-off the QBoxHD.
2.7 Remove the USB flash pen
2.8 Turn-on the QBoxHD

IMPORTANT:
The current status of the QBoxHD software is beta.
This update removes all previous configuration and user settings.

when i start the update say the sreen that you must turn of the qbox and than turn on
When i that did i lose the connection with my network

So when you do have the same problem you must do the next

When the program ask turn of the Qbox HD go than to TELNET and login

You can do it on this way

Telnet Your IP
Telnet 192.168.1.10

The login is root
Pasword qboxhd

and when login you will see the update is running

when ready you must do this

turn off the power from the qbox

After that you must place the qboxhd_update.tar on your usb stick don't forget to format your usb stick in Fat mode
Place the stick in the receiver ad turn on your box again


Turn the power on and wait a few minutes you will see that the update is beginning

When it say that the update is ready you can remove the stich and your update is ready

First file is the bootloader update, second is the file system.

First update the QboxHD using QboxHDupdater with the boot update file.

Second Unzip the QboxHD image file and put the folder inside in a USB drive; turn off the stb, insert the drive in the Qbox, then turn it on again.

New image for Qbox HD 04-03-09

This is a RECOVERY package for the QBox HD.
This recovery package contains the official firmware for the QBox HD.

Instructions
=============================

1. Copy the compressed file qboxhd_update_ddmmyy.gz to a USB flash drive
2. Change its name to qboxhd_update.gz
Optional: If you want a faster update procedure, uncompress the file
inside the USB flash drive. This will create a qboxhd_update directory
3. Turn off the QBox HD
4. Insert the USB flash drive that contains the update file
5. Turn on the QBox HD
6. The update procedure starts. The LCD will display the update status.
If you decompressed the file before, this operation takes approximately
5 min. If you didn't decompress it, it can take up to 15 min.
7. When the update procedure finishes, the QBox HD will continue with
the normal start-up

- This is a RECOVERY package that contains the whole filesystem
updated up to 2009.03.27
- PVR basic functionality. No fast forward/rewind and no pause.
- Automatically mounts any vfat USB flash drive for PVR record/playback.
It can mount simultaneously up to 2 drives in /media/hdd and /media/hdd2.
- WiFi: Bug fixed in Network test. Added signal strength monitor depending on the antenna position

- New launcher script. The old exec was not flexible for starting custom apps
- Updated scripts for mounting/umounting USB flash drives
- Driver dvbt_gpio.ko was substituted by qboxhd_generic.ko
- Driver dvbt_gpio.ko has been substituted for the more 'generic' qboxhd_generic.ko
- enigma2: wifi: Added new Wireless AP scan and correct a bug when Enter Standby with SenseWheel
- enigma2: wifi: WEP Encryption bug resolved
- enigma2: Added backup/restore enigma settings, skin and var directory (very useful )
- enigma2: Reduce a timeout in scan.cpp. It is a workaround for crashes in some satellite scans (for example 16E)

Qbox HD Update 09.04.09

- System upgrade to Python 2.6 (includes enigma2)
- enigma2: WebInterface plugin added
- enigma2: PVR works with the original enigma code path. The workaround was eliminated.
Pause is activated/deactivated when pressing the yellow button.
Forward is activated with the blue button. If pressed again it speeds up. It
has two speeds: 3x and 5x. When pressing a third time the image will freeze
and the green or yellow button returns to 1x.
Rewind is activated with the red button. If pressed the stream will start from
the beginning.
The resume action works as expected when returning to a previously stopped
stream.
If 'forward' is pressed immediately after 'pause', forward slow motion will
start at 1/8x, pressed again it changes to 1/4x.

QBox HD - The Last Update

This is basically a bug-fixing release.
- enigma2: PVR forward/rewind speeds were fixed:
PVR forward speeds in HD: 2x and 4x
PVR rewind speeds in HD : N/A (file re-starts from the beginning)
PVR forward speeds in SD: 2x, 4x, 8x and 16x
PVR rewind speeds in SD : 2x, 4x, 8x and 16x
- enigma2: Standby/Restart works partially:
Stanby works as expected
Restart works as expected
Deep-Standby does not work as expected. It shutdowns the decoder.
- Several critical bugs were fixed:
#115 enigma2 crashes when setting a timer for recording without name
#56 enigma2 crashes in Timer for recording when pressing Enter
#108 Adding a directory to a playlist in Media Player loops enigma2
#121 Some dirs in /var must be mounted as tmpfs
- A lot of minor bugs in enigma2, launcher and filesystem were fixed.

This is basically a bug-fixing release.
- Fixed several critical bugs:
#105 enigma2 crashes when changing channel and initial modal window of CI is about to appear
#130 enigma2 crashes when entering in the Parental Control Menu and press ok two times in "Edit List"
#107 Feeder does not handle the situation when there is a problem while opening a dvr device
#132 enigma2 crashes with encrypted channels when the CAM cannot decrypt them
#128 Scan restarts with the CAM inside
#117 Volume of MPEG-2 coding and AC3 coding are different
#63 When starting with an HD channel, it's not displayed
- Added new functionality:
#67 Test and support the new RC
