i now have cam set up on vuuno 4kse with open atv 7.4 all working correctly, except for recording, i am having problem recording whilst watching another channel, i can record whilst box is in standby, still experimenting and will report back
Is it easy to set up? I used to use a VU+ Zero with Intelsat 901 etc and loved it but as it doesn't have a CI slot I had to revert to my old TM5402HD M3 to use Kabelio. All working OK but would love to swap to a VU+ receiver.

I hope someone can help us. We're setting up our Technomate TM-5402 HD M3 CI Super+ to receive Kabelio. It's been 10 years since we set it up and haven't had to touch it since and we can't remember how to do it! We can't even remember how to find the antenna settings. We're in the Eastern Algarve. Also, is there a way I can send a private message on this forum? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sally

LNB 90 degrees out - fixed now!
Hi Yaryl, we're in the same area as you and have a technomate tm-5402 M3 etc. We're doing the same with kabelio but it's been so long since we set it up originally (10 years) and never had a problem with it that we can't remember what to do, can't even find the antenna settings. Can you help at all. Thanks a lot, Sally

antenna settings = Menu - Installation - Motorized Settings .
Kabelio Card open Front Flap insert Kabelio Card .
if you have CI Module insert Kabelio Card into (CAM) then insert (CAM) inside front CI Slot on your Technomate box its the same for any Subscription card so it is really incredible that you already struggling with such a basic task ? .
Nothing special is required it is all down to user Errors when it fails to work which is a much more common issue .
Good luck .

Oh, a blast from the past, I remember you from the technomate forum! Thanks for the info, we'll donate to the forum once I work out how to do it. Can you give us some pointers, we muddled through in the past but we're 10 years older and, it appears, none the wiser!!

If you are already on 13e just scan these transponders

10853 H 29900
10971 H 29700
11096 H 30000
11681 H 27500
Menu - installation - advanced search-select transponder from list ie 10853 H 29900 etc - scroll down to search type select All channels- Scroll to SCAN and press OK

This will bring in all the channels

If you dont have these transponders in your list for 13e

Menu - installation - Press Green button Add TP, then enter 10853, then scroll down to Symbol rate and enter 29900, then scroll to Polarization and select H then scroll to SCAN and press OK
Repeat for each transponder.
Remember to save channel list to usb after

There's 4 transponders, has srf as well which has some eng audio progs and F1 still I think, I've never seen the benefits of a pid search instead of not scanning a single transponder? Also if not in the list it still needs the TP adding?

Let us know how you get on.
I had trouble with the transponders, they didn't come up on the list so I followed your instructions and typed them in and got the message they already existed. We did a channel scan anyway and think we're on 19.2e. We don't have enough swing with the current set up as the dish is hitting the corner of the roof so we'll be up early tomorrow to see if a smaller dish will swing. Do you think the transponder issue will resolve itself once we're on 13e? Sorry if it's a daft question, my husband isn't here to check if I've worded it right! We're getting the CAM tomorrow, is there anything we need to do in the settings? Finally (and I hope I remember correctly!), we had a Tecatel Conmutador DiSEqC 4x1 for 2 satellites now we only have one. Do we need to change anything in the settings? Thanks for your help

If it works now no need too change settings for switch.
If swapping dishes if using same cable should still be ok in settings, let us know closer you get to set up.
Make sure you are on 13e, it's fairly strong sat for your location.
You can get that message when the TP is close to another or has different polarity but same tp, Concentrate on getting 13e then take it from there.

You insert the Kabelio CI+ CAM open front flap you'll see the C.I Slot for the Cam push it in fully in place .
you can access Kabelio CI+ CAM menu pressing Menu on your Technomate remote goto CI & CA
RIGHT Arrow on Remote to CI Slot#1 and OK To access CAM menu but none of that you will require it only shows Parental controls and Language and your Expiry dates .
Getting dish on Hotbird 13E and scanning Kabelio Freq's is your main priority you will likely see maximum signal as this is very easy signal to lock even on small dishes its very strong .

Keep posting back here on your progress and keep this topic alive it will help out a lot of members in same or similar situation ,

Good luck : )
